London: On that day we didn't go to work...
...8.30 a.m. Thursday. 8th of February 2007, 2nd of February 2009. A few inches of snow brought London to a standstill. We were lucky... Forty six years ago - in 1963 - two feet of snow caused chaos in the capital and the mayhem lasted for two months! |
